About Sugar West (Now Sugar)
Sugar is a stunning grey and white short haired kitty. She is a gentle soul looking for a family of her own to fall in love with!
Sugar is a little shy but learning to enjoy being picked up and cuddled! She is growing in confidence and learning every day that humans are for love and comfort, as well as for food and playing.
Sugar is calm and constantly purring, just loving life. She's a very easy-going, gentle soul and loves a head rub but also absolutely loves to play! With any toys and with her rather boisterous brother. She also follows her foster carer around the house, just wanting to be near her, and adores her other foster brother, the adult resident cat.
Sugar would best suit a quiet home, but kids who understand she needs some patience and love before being picked up will benefit from a friendship with this lovely girl - they'll learn all about consent and earning trust, and the rewards that brings! She will need to go to a home with another young cat-friendly cat or be adopted as a pair with her brother Coco.

Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
