On Hold
Aleisha or affectionately referred to here as “wee girl” is a petite young female that never had a race career and is now looking for her forever home.
From day one in foster care, Aleisha has been the perfect pet, always engaging with her human and canine companions and loving nothing more than smooching up to you and staring with her soulful eyes looking for a pat.
In the short time in foster care we found Aleisha to be easy to walk, easy to feed, clean in the house and sleep quietly at night. He only downside is that she does not like to be left behind when the other house greys are walked without her. But on the plus side she has been tested with cats and was quite happy and engaging in their company.
Loving the company of other dogs we feel that Aleisha would best be suited to a home with a companion animal, preferably another greyhound and also a home where she would not be left alone for periods of time and have access to an outside yard. Apartments would not be suitable.
Aleisha is ready to be adopted.
