About Abby
Abby is an adorable, female, black kitten. She is still shy around humans, but
starting to come out of her shell. Currently, with her foster carer, she is kept in a pet run over night and taken out for cuddles and exercise during the day.
This helps her to get used to humans and gain her confidence.
When held close for a cuddle she is affectionate and purrs her little head off.
On occasion she likes to wash your fingers and is a great little snuggler.
However, she still needs to learn to come to humans voluntarily. With love,
patience, kindness and understanding she is slowly learning to do this and
would soon be a wonderful friend and companion.
Abby would be more suited to mature owners, or extremely patient older
children.
Abby is a fanatical rope chaser she just can't get enough of this game. She is
fascinated by other cats and just wants to follow them everywhere. That is
when she is not running around the house playing with anything that she can
find. She is quite the athlete and adores cat trees or shelves. Her favourite
toy at the moment is a snickers wrapper, although she loves balls and pieces
of crumpled up paper.
She is still easily frightened by sharp or loud noises but her curiosity and
bravery tend to quickly overcome such obstacles.
Could you be the person to give Abby the love and forever home that she
needs? Her love would be your greatest reward.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
