About Flopsy
🥰💜 FLOPSY 💜😍
Meet the very sweet and adorable, Flopsy 💕 who is ready to find her furever home.
Flopsy is a super sweet, little middle aged lady with a bobtail that doesn’t stop wiggling 😍 It's the cutest thing! She also has perfected the art of “puppy eyes” and swoons with pats 🥰 Flopsy has so much love to give!
She would do best in a family with someone at home more often than not or another dog to keep her company 💕 She has enjoyed the company of a big boisterous dog and proven herself to be great with cats too. She is even really good with kids as well 😊
She has some timid submissive behaviours at times which seem learned from a hard previous life but she doesn’t show fear while exhibiting them 💜 Despite some arthritis in her hind legs, that can be managed by diet and joint supplements, she is a busy little bee who loves chasing the shadows of birds and butterflies and moths 🌷
Flopsy is house trained (no accidents inside the house to speak of) and eats well. She doesn’t respond to many commands but walks well on the lead and thoroughly enjoys her outings. Flopsy looooves water! So she would love a family willing to take her to places she can go for a swim and play in water 😊 She would not do well at all as a single dog left at home unattended for long periods of time unfortunately, as she becomes quite upset.
Flopsy would suit an active family who are home most of the time or who have the ability to take her most places with them 🥰 She would love another dog for company too, but it's not essential as long as she isn't left on her own for long periods.
This super sweet girl will win you over with her gentle, loving nature 💖 all she needs is a family to love her.
If you would like to meet Flopsy, please message for an application 💝
Medical notes
Arthritis in hind legs, managed by diet (raw food) and joint supplements
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
