About Miss Nanny
🌼🌼 NANNY 🌼🌼
Meet the stunning, green-eyed beauty.. Miss Nanny 🥰 who is ready to find her furever home 💕
Beautiful sweet Miss Nanny has had a hectic start to life :( When we saved her we were told she was a mum to 11 kittens :O When transport got there there were 17!!! All mixed together and they couldn't tell who the 11 were that belonged to her. So we brought her in with all 17 kittens, we tried to figure out who belonged to her, we managed to put some of her babies together with her.. we ended up giving her 6 to look after as 11 was just too much for her!
She did well and took over the care of the kittens that were not hers plus her own. She fed them, cleaned them and occasionally disciplined them 🥰 Poor Nanny had no idea how to play and used to watch the kittens rough housing with each other. When she finally tried to join in she could not work out why the kittens cried :( Miss Nanny was about 4kg and the kittens were around 500 grams but as the kittens grew they all learnt how to play together 💕
Nanny has always been happy to sit next to you on the lounge 🥰 She has learnt to come to you when she wants pats which is quite often now as she is a very affectionate cat 💖 She will greet you at the front door in the afternoon when you come home from work. Not sure if that’s because she is happy to see you or wants to remind you it’s dinner time 🤣🤣
Miss Nanny enjoys zoomie sessions to stretch her legs! She doesn’t play with toys but loves running through the cat tunnel, and snoozing in there too 😴. She is happy to be picked up and loves belly scratches whilst being held. If she is asleep on the bed and you walk past she will chirp and roll on her back for more belly rubs 💕
She is placid and has not shown any signs of aggression even when a special needs child was stroking her whiskers, Nanny is very patient 😊 She seemed to like it and when he comes to visit she will push her head towards him wanting more. Miss Nanny will be the first to greet visitors knowing that she will get pats ;)
When her foster mum fell over, Miss Nanny came running over and sat next to her meowing with concern and sniffing her knee that I knocked. She stayed with her until she got back up 😍
Nanny would love a family who will let her sleep on the bed. She is a peaceful, loving cat that grows everyday into personality 💕
If you would like to meet Nanny, please message for an application 💝
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
