About Layla
🌸🌸 LAYLA 🌸🌸
Meet the absolutely beautiful, sweetheart.. Layla 🥰 who is finally ready to find her furever family 💕
Layla was surrendered to us July last year, she was a girl who was super scared of everything 😭 she was that scared of things she would defecate herself 💔 which broke our hearts as we knew she was a lovable goof under all that nervousness, she just needed a patient and understanding person to bring that out of her. So for the last 6 months Layla has been learning how to be brave with the help of her amazing foster family 🥰 And she is doing amazing!! 😍😍😍 She is much more confident then she was 6 months ago, she warms up to people alot faster then she used to. She still has a ways to go but she is getting there 🥰
So now Layla is looking for her furever family who is willing to love her no matter what 💖 Her foster mum has been working hard to show Layla that life isn't always scary 😊 And once she gets to know you we promise she will always give you love and snuggles 😍 as she is a very affectionate girl. When Layla is excited her whole body and bum whips around, it's the cutest thing. Her foster mum likes to call it dancing 💃 Layla LOVES walks and a good game of fetch, its how she relaxes and unwinds.
Layla is a beautiful, sweet girl that loves you to pieces. Layla is going to need a family who is willing to keep building her confidence, showing her all the great things life has to offer 💕 Like the beach, she has just found out how awesome the beach is 😍
Layla gets along great with her foster siblings (dogs). She would do best in a home with a confident dog who will respect her space while she settles in, as it will take a few days for her to adjust 💜
This gorgeous girl is good with children, but they must be old enough to respect her space when needed. (Preferably no young children under 12, as this could over welm her).
Crate training has been a huge help for Layla 😁 Her new family would need to provide her a crate to let her continue to use a crate, as its her safe place 🥰
Layla is very smart. She knows all her basic manners, is toilet/doggy door trained and can even do some cool tricks too!
Layla is going to need a patient and kind family with another dog (or two), willing to attend multiple meets to get to know her and willing to give her the time to love them like we know she wants to 💖
If you can provide this sweet, goofy girl with the loving home she deserves.. please message us for an application 💝
Medical notes
Layla has skin allergies triggered by food, she is currently on a mostly raw diet because of this.
Layla is nervous and timid.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
