Hello I'm Joel. I'm a big beautiful boy who looks like a sleek black cougar. I don't act like one though, I'm very quiet and shy and I love to be petted, I'll purr and purr if you scratch my back. My foster mum thinks I'll be a snuggler in no time.

I don't mind being on my own but I'd be a great friend for someone who is home a lot. I'm still pretty scared of loud noises, I hide in my cocoon when I hear something I'm not sure about.

I like to check my food out properly when I eat, I usually take it out of the bowl and eat it off the floor! My foster mum doesn't mind, I clean up most of the mess myself and then give her lots of head rubs.

I was found as a stray so no-one knows anything about my past. I'd prefer a quiet household as I haven't been around people too much but I think I'd get used to most things in time, I can't wait to find my furrever home.
