About Daphne
Daphne is a total purr monster who specialises in kneading soft blankets!
She LOVES cuddles, so much that she'll chase you around the house chirping, in the hopes that you'll stop for a quick second to pick her up and cuddle!
Every night she's up on the bed, under the covers, on top of the covers, on the pillow, anywhere... She must be cuddled.
She's also sociable and playful, enjoys bouncing around with the other cats and playing with all sorts of toys!
This little tripod and her three siblings came into care when they were only a few hours old, still slimy and teenie tiny. They have lived with 4 friendly resident cats and have been well socialised with children and adults.
** Daphne would ideally be adopted as a pair with one of her siblings.
Adopting a pair of kittens is great for families who have busy lives or work long hours. Most kittens are social creatures and tend to have better resilience when they have a supportive buddy to lean on and learn from.

Medical notes
Daphne had emergency surgery when she was only 3 days old.
She was born with her umbilical cord wrapped around her back leg, causing a strangulation injury, it damaged the blood supply and unfortunately the circulation did not return.
It became septic and required specialist emergency surgery to remove it before she succumbed to the growing infection.
She has never known what it is like to have 4 legs... she doesn't know life could be any different. She climbs up on the bed, the lounge, all over the cat tree and has no difficulties getting around.
As she becomes an adult she may require additional supportive care to prevent arthritis as she is more susceptible in her remaining hindlimb. She will be required to be remain an indoor cat as she cannot defend herself as easily from predators (dogs, other cats, cars etc).
Adoption details
Step 1: Find a super cute kitten or cat that's appealing to you and your family.
Step 2: Send us an enquiry! Via email, text or phone call, we want to hear from you.
Be patient, expect a reply within 48 hours.
Step 3: Answer a couple of questions - this really helps us get to know you, your lifestyle and manage any expectations. Remember, we know our fur babes best, we want to make sure you're the most perfect match!
Step 4: You've matched! Lets do a meet and greet! Usually this happens at the foster carers house; this is because you want to meet your new little buddy in the environment that they're gonna be the most comfortable in.
Step 5: If everyone is happy, let's start an adoption trial! That means you get to take your new pal home... let them settle in, relax and make sure everyone is feeling good about things. You've got 2 weeks to decide if it's a forever thing... Your foster carer will remain in contact the whole time - to answer any questions you may have.
We request that all potential adoptees show patience and respect during the adoption process; we are volunteers that put our heart and soul into rescue - we do not get paid for this and most carers have full time jobs outside of rescue work.
All animals in care are treated like our own fur family, we love them and want the world for them!
