About DeeDee
DeeDee is scatter brained, very fun and busy right up until she just falls asleep - she is super fun! She's usually the instigator of all the fun stuff... loves chasing shoe laces, stealing things, poking things, bopping stuff; all the kitten business.
She has a little red fluffy ball that she drags all around the house and sometimes dunks in the water bowl, like a puppy.
At night she sleeps either on her foster parents bed, snuggled in, under or on the blanket or pillow. She sleeps in all kinds of strange positions that she just falls into.
This wirey haired little possum kitty and her three siblings came into care when they were only a few hours old, still slimy and teenie tiny. They have lived with 4 friendly resident cats and have been well socialised with children and adults.
** DeeDee would ideally be adopted as a pair with one of her siblings.
Adopting a pair of kittens is great for families who have busy lives or work long hours. Most kittens are social creatures and tend to have better resilience when they have a supportive buddy to lean on and learn from.

Medical notes
DeeDee was born with an over bite. At this point in her development it poses no issues to her jaw growth or functionality. As she develops this can change and she may require dental surgery to remove her lower canine teeth if they press into her upper jaw.
This is a surprisingly common issue with cats and in most cases it does not require treatment.
AND its also super cute and adds to her quirky little personality!
Adoption details
Step 1: Find a super cute kitten or cat that's appealing to you and your family.
Step 2: Send us an enquiry! Via email, text or phone call, we want to hear from you.
Be patient, expect a reply within 48 hours.
Step 3: Answer a couple of questions - this really helps us get to know you, your lifestyle and manage any expectations. Remember, we know our fur babes best, we want to make sure you're the most perfect match!
Step 4: You've matched! Lets do a meet and greet! Usually this happens at the foster carers house; this is because you want to meet your new little buddy in the environment that they're gonna be the most comfortable in.
Step 5: If everyone is happy, let's start an adoption trial! That means you get to take your new pal home... let them settle in, relax and make sure everyone is feeling good about things. You've got 2 weeks to decide if it's a forever thing... Your foster carer will remain in contact the whole time - to answer any questions you may have.
We request that all potential adoptees show patience and respect during the adoption process; we are volunteers that put our heart and soul into rescue - we do not get paid for this and most carers have full time jobs outside of rescue work.
All animals in care are treated like our own fur family, we love them and want the world for them!
