About Little Ernie
*In foster care in Pyrmont, Sydney*
TAKING PRE-ADOPTION ENQUIRIES PENDING KITTEN VETWORK
A classic lap cat, Ernie is a sweetheart who loves nothing more than a long, smoochy snuggle with his foster humans! He also has heaps of fun playing and pouncing with his brother Bert, so he'd be very happy in a home with another friendly feline :)
Being hand-raised from just one week old, Ernie isn't fussed by anything much at all! It's possible he may have some hearing loss, so for his own safety he will need to be an indoors-only cat.
Like all Maggie's pets, Ernie will be microchipped, desexed and vaccinated prior to adoption.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with an adoring person, couple or family with lots of cuddles and hands-on love to give! Endless belly rubs are a must :) I think I'll do really well in a home with children thanks to my laid-back nature, and another awesome cat to rumble with would be amazing too. (My brother Bert is also up for adoption, if you're looking for the purrfect pair! https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/827036)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Quite low, but with spontaneous bursts of activity!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids yet, but nothing really fazes me and I love to snuggle - so sleeping next to a small human sounds like bliss!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm totally fine with other cats, but I haven't met any dogs at this stage. Given not much bothers me, I think I'd make friends with a nice dog pretty easily!
Medical notes
Ernie's foster carer suspects he may have some hearing loss, so for his own safety he will need to be an indoors-only cat.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
