About Bert
*In foster care in Pyrmont, Sydney*
TAKING PRE-ADOPTION ENQUIRIES PENDING KITTEN VETWORK
Your typical full-of-beans kitten, Bert loves to explore the world in the best way he knows how - by putting everything in his mouth! His favourite chew toy is his brother Ernie, though he's also partial to toes :)
Bert is an absolutely fearless little dude with no known exceptions. (He's even unfazed by the vacuum cleaner!) This beautiful kitten will thrive in a loving household with lots of hands-on attention and playtime, whether that's with a single person, a couple or a family.
Like all Maggie's pets, Bert will be microchipped, desexed and vaccinated prior to adoption.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with someone who has plenty of time to play and cuddle! Having been hand-raised from one week old, I'm used to lots of human contact and really enjoy curling up on your chest to sleep once I've used up all my energy (or after a hearty meal).
My brother Ernie is also up for adoption, if you're looking for a purrfect pair? https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/828171
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! I'll happily run around for hours at a time chasing my brother, or a toy, or both!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids yet, but as long as they understand my quirks (namely, the chewing-on-toes thing!) I reckon we'll get along just fine!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'd really love a fur sibling! I haven't met any dogs at this stage, but I'm not afraid of anything else so I don't think a friendly dog would bother me very much!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
