Hello there my name is Diesel! I am Kelpie and as you know we are a very energetic breed.

I came into the shelter as my owners became very ill and were no longer able to care for me. The staff here at the shelter have helped me to settle in and become ready to find my new home.

I LOVE tennis balls and toys! I am going to need lots of these in my new home so I can keep myself occupied. I would also love it if you could play fetch with me, its one of my favorite games to play here!

My ideal family is one where there is no young children as I am a high energy dog and can be quite jumpy! I want to be apart of the family and be taken out with you on adventures whether its going to work with you, long walks or going away with the family on beach adventures!

I am the type of dog looking for a family with an active lifestyle. I also love car rides so I wouldn't mind travelling all over with you! I am a good boy and well behaved in the car! I can get scared of loud noises sometimes, this is not uncommon for dogs, but this would need to be managed by my new family!

I will need an owner who is experienced and has knowledge of my breed and how high demand we can be in regard to our training and mental stimulation! I will need to be the only dog in the household and I wont be able to go to any off-leash activities or high populated dog areas as I don't like other dogs very much.

Secure fencing in your home is a must! I like to jump up on my doggy kennel and so I have a nice view of my surroundings, I am a very agile boy!
