About Rosie
Rosie (Black, Female, 5 year old Dane, currently located in Hopetoun 6348 if anyone down that way is interested). Unfortunately, due to a change in her new homes circumstances that no-one could have seen coming, Rosie is back looking for that happily ever after. Her new owners are gutted as they absolutely love her.
This time around we know a little more about her from her last couple of months in her new home, she is a super happy girl! She’s learned how to walk on a halti and is getting the hang of it but can be very excitable at the start of the walk. Once settled, she can pass by almost anything that comes her way without too much trouble.
Although she wasn’t socialised for much of her life in her short time in the new home she has met and befriended many dogs. So we know now that she could in fact be a great second doggo to a dog savvy home, with someone (both dog and human) who could handle her excitement. Rosie is such an enthusiastic girl and could likely be too much for a lot of reserved dogs.
She can cope being on her own but only for a very short workday and would need 3-4 days to settle in before her first day alone. Ideally, we’re looking for a home that has people home more often than not or another male dog for company. Rosie doesn’t particularly like being left and can cry for a bit at first.
Rosie is looking for a cat free home, she is basically untested in this area and we need her next home to be absolutely perfect. She seems to have a normal curiosity of stock and while not proven with free access to stock, with appropriate fencing and supervision Rosie could live on property.
Small kids wouldn’t be easy to manage with her as her tail is in a constant joyful motion and is quite the weapon! She loves people and a home with school age kids would be perfect. Rosie has a bunch of toys she loves to play with. She’d love nothing more than to be inside with her people but may take a little time to settle into house rules. She’s not destructive and eager to learn.
