About Jughead
My foster mums call me Findus because it suits me better than Jughead and they think I look like the cat from the Swedish children's book Pettson and Findus, do you agree? I am a handsome and gentle boy. Not much is known about me because I was found as a stray. I was very scared and quite hissy (but never aggressive) when I arrived at Cat Haven and it took me a while to settle into my foster home, however, I really enjoy my new life as a house cat and my foster mums say I am the perfect cat now.
I am very playful, I love to play with my octopus on a string and with my foster mum's feet when she lays under the blanket in bed. I am very affectionate, I will sleep next to you in bed every night and will follow you around the house. I love chin scratches but it doesn't really matter where you pat me because I like every part of my body touched. I am not a lap cat yet and my foster mum's are not sure if I ever will but it doesn't really matter because I will lay next to you all the time if you want me to. Besides playing and getting pats, I love to eat. You can definitely gain my trust with creamy treats or roast chicken.
I love my foster brothers, unfortunately they don't like me much because I always want to play with them but they don't want to play with me. Thus, I really would like to have a feline friend in my forever home to play with and to keep me company while my humans are not home. I would have to be an indoor only cat because otherwise the sun would damage my pale nose and I think a quiet home would be ideal for me because I can still get scared when I hear loud noises or when I meet new people.
Just be aware I might be a bit scared when I meet you at the beginning but with time, patience and a lot of love, I will be the perfect companion for you and your cats. Do you have a forever home for me? Come and meet me in my foster home in West Perth!
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
