I am Dawn, the most beautiful and cuddly Kelpie in Brisbane 🥰
You will always find me playing very nicely with my foster brother or cuddling my foster mum, I love being around humans and absolutely love the attention 🥰
I’m seeking an active and loving family who can give me the love and attention I deserve. I get so excited when I play with my foster brother who is also a Kelpie 😍
I am very much food motivated so I will be easy to train, my foster mum has already taught me to sit, stay, down and my recall has been pretty good so far. I am still learning to walk on leash so you will have to be very patient with me as I get a little scared of the outside world 💕
I am a fast learner and am very eager to please!
I will need space to run as I am very active and very fast 💨 I will also need secure 6ft fencing.
I get along with other dogs but have not met kids yet 🙂
I have been through a bit in my short life and really require someone that will give me lots of love, that will love me the way I am and that will be very patient with me.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
