About Taz
πΎπ₯ TAZ π₯πΎ
Introducing the handsome little Taz the Mini Fox Terrier π Who is ready to find his furever family π
π PLEASE READ HIS PROFILE IN FULL π
Taz is the sweetest boy, so full of love and energy! He is like an energizer bunny when he gets going π He would love an active home with a decent sized yard (he will not be suitable for apartments/unit living etc..).
Taz actually prefers the outdoors rather then being inside π when given the option he prefers outside. We believe this is due to however he was raised, which we don't have any history on as we rescued him off deathrow from a rural pound 𧑠So Taz is not house trained.
This sweet boy looooves kids! π He just wants to run around doing whatever they're doing. Taz loves other dogs too, big or small it doesn't bother him. Is however untested with adult male dogs π He is not good with cats, he will bark at them and if allowed might like to chase them.
Whatever Taz' history is we can assume it was not a fulfilling one π from what we have seen since being in our care we believe Taz was a "throw in the backyard" kind of dog π he didn't know his name, he didn't know how to play!!! And didn't even know the basic "Sit" command π However due to his need to please and with treat motivation, this boy is learning very quickly π Taz is learning what play is, he has learnt sit, is learning down and mostly walks beautifully on lead ππ He will need a family willing to commit to continue his training π
So Taz does get a bit upset when left on his own, which is understandable since he now knows what love is and doesn't want it to go away π He will need a home where someone is home more often then not and/or has another dog π Also typical to his breed he needs secure fencing, he gets a bit too curious of outside the yard when the gate opens, so must be careful with gates and doors with him around π
Taz will make the most loyal and loving companion to the whole family π₯° He would love to go out on adventures with an active family, he would hate to be left at home he would much rather be apart of everything and explore the amazing world with his family π
If you think you might be able to provide the right kind of home to Taz, please message for an application π
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
