**For Foster Care or Foster with potential to adopt only**

Hi everyone my name is Nanook ??

I know I’m not a GSD, Rottie or Lab, but HFAAR has offered to help me find my forever home because the President has known me a long time. She’s the one who helped save me from a pretty terrible place before I came into a rescue 3 yrs ago.

You see I used to be with another rescue, but unfortunately they closed their doors and my foster carer has cared for me ever since. She has had a serious health event occur though and is no longer able to care for me so HFAAR has promised to help me find my forever home after all this time. Can you help me as well? ??. I would love a foster or foster to adopt home so much!!

My story is a sad one before I was originally rescued, but we won’t delve into that right now. Let’s just say I have a fear of uniforms and baseball hats for a reason ??.

I am a 5 1/2 yr old female staffy x kelpie. I love my carer and all adults I meet (unless you are wearing you know whats, then you can be a little scary). I have never been around children so a family that has children from 12 yrs up would probably be a lot of fun. I am used to being on my own for a few hours a day, but for my forever home I would love someone who’s around a lot and let’s me be an inside/outside dog. I love being your shadow, best friend, confidant and snuggle bunny. If you love long car rides, I’m your girl. I looooooove car rides ??.

I am nervous when I first meet other dogs, but once I see they are ok I am fine. Maybe a nice easy going male doggo would be fun to have and chill with.

I have never been around cats, livestock etc, so no idea what I think of them, but might be best if I have a home without cats just in case.
I do have a phobia of storms - don’t judge me! They can be so scary sounding ??. But if you can let me inside to snuggle with you I will be ok.

I know my basic commands like sit, wait for my food etc and I walk nicely on a lead. I really am a good girl ??.
