About Obie
"Hi, we're Obie and Amisi, and we're best buddies."
Obie and Amisi have been together since birth and they need to stay together for life.
They have always had a loving family, even their dog loves them. They're used to young children - Amisi is calm around kids, Obie prefers quieter kids and keeps a safe distance from younger/wilder kids until he assesses them.
Unfortunately their family is very busy, and they can no longer get the amount of cuddles and attention they deserve.
Obie is very affectionate. He is slightly-to-moderately cautious with newcomers, but after a nice introduction, he talkative and likes endless pats, smooching and playing.
Obie keep his glorious coat looking smart, but an occasional quick brush helps with any twigs/flowers in his fur. About once a week (sometimes twice), Obie has a little vomit after eating (perhaps because he's too good looking), and this has remained constant over his lifetime despite trying a wide range of food options.
Obie is in top condition and health. He usually spends days outdoors, and most nights he likes to be inside.
Obie is slightly less adventurous/energetic than Amisi.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
