About Thor
PLEASE EMAIL keetamouse@grapevine.com.au ME IN THE FIRST INSTANCE AND TELL ME ALL ABOUT YOU AND YOU FAMILY AND YOUR LIFESTYLE.
Thor is now back on for adoption but he does come with very specific guidelines of the home that he needs to go to:
Thor has a few issues that his new family needs to be prepared to work on, he does not get along with other dogs whilst being walked, so training will be needed with this, his family feel he needs to find a home without small children, he has not exhibited any agro towards them but his owners feel he can do without having little children in his life.
Thor would do well in a home as the only dog, a family who can continue his socialization and training and be committed to getting the expert help/guidance from the German Shepherd Club in the ACT, via way of taking him to training etc so people need to make that commitment to Thor before sending me in an application.
Thor would like a home where he doesn't spend 7-9 hours a day on his own in a back yard, this is not what he would be happy with, so people who work part time or retirees who are still relatively fit and can cater to Thor's needs and training and people who have had Shepherds before will be given top priority.
When contacting me can you tell me a bit about you and your family ie have they been around dogs before, had Shepherds etc anything that gives me an idea of what Thor's life will be filled with also please email me as opposed to sending me a PM, thanks Maree
From Thor's owners: Thor is a beautiful dog, when in my backyard he is so loving and caring. He just wants to be around you. He loves being hugged and petted. He loves wrestling with a rope and trying to eat the water out of a hose.
He is a great dog and deserves the best so if you match all of the criteria and are committed to his future then email me Maree at keetamouse@grapevine.com.au and tell me about you and your family, what dogs you have had in the past, your lifestyle so Luke can assess each person as to their suitability for Thor.
Thor's date of birth is 27/12/2014, he is desexed, up to date with his vaccinations, he is microchipped and wormed. All paperwork will be handed over at adoption there will also be a 2 week trial for the new owners in the event that it does not work out.
His pedigree papers will be given to his new owners after the 2 week trial.

To enquire about a dog in foster care please email the foster carer in the first instance (using the contact details listed with the dog's description).
The foster carer needs to know about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of dog you want, so that they can help work out if the dog you have selected is right for you.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable.
