About Memphis
🌞🌞 MEMPHIS 🌞
Meet the happy boy, Memphis 😍 This gorgeous goof is ready to find his furever family 🥰💖
He’s a gentle giant, honestly the biggest sweetheart in disguise 😍 Loves his belly rubs, pats, and loves to be brushed!! Basically any attention that's given to him he loves :P
He’s got the sweetest personality, and is a people doggo, who would love to be included all the time! 💕 he’d love to be an inside dog, he’s well behaved and once settled, he will happily sit on his bed with the occasional walk around 😊
Memphis loves his walks (still working on his leash skills) but definitely needs a walk at least once a day, as he just loves to explore and stretch those legs!
He isn't a huge fan of toys, but he LOVES squeaky tennis balls and will play with them on his own 🙃 He doesn't know what fetch is though.
He’s scared of kennels, so would not be suitable to being a permanent outside dog to live in a kennel.
Memphis is great with other dogs and loves to interact with them on his walks! He is so good when meeting dogs, isn't boisterous or in their face. He seems okay with cats, he’s very interested in them so slow introductions are a must 😊
This boy loooves kids, he seeks them out! but can have the tendency to jump (out of excitement) a bit and because of his size, he will probably be best suited to a family with older kids (5yrs and up) or kids who are dog savvy 🥰
He does use his weight and strength strength sometimes, so definitely needs owners who know and understand big dogs and their stubborn quirks.. like pulling to go smell something when you said no 🤣 or laying down because he isn't ready to leave yet.
Memphis eats his dinner, but has a keen interest in the raw side of food - loves his bones, raw chicken breast etc.
He’s good in the car but gets a little car sick over trips longer than 10mins.
All in all, this absolutely beautiful, goofy, loving, smoochy, affectionate boy would make a wonderful addition to a family who loves big dogs 🥰💖
If you would like to meet Memphis, please message for an application 💝
Medical notes
Has suspected hip dysplaysia. Is currently on a joint supplement to support.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
