About Thea ~ 7mo BC X ~ (On Trial 30/08/20)
This beautiful girl is Thea. Thea is a 7 month old Kelpie x Border Collie. She is only a small girl, around 11 kg, but full of personality.
Thea is a very friendly girl, who has lots of energy. She needs a home who can commit to mentally and physically stimulating her intelligent mind. She needs to be kept busy or she gets up to all sorts of mischief! She is a very intelligent girl and responds well to training. She can sit, shake, drop and stay. Thea loves to play tug of war and fetch, and she loves catching balls. She is also food oriented so will pick up any new training quickly.
Thea needs exercise every day. We would love for her to go to a home with working dog experience, someone who not only knows the rewards of a working breed, but also understands their physical and mental needs.
Thea is looking for a home where she won’t be left alone too often, or even better a home where she can accompany you to work. Thea needs a family that is committed to spending lots of time with her and incorporating her into their daily lives.
Thea is dog friendly and gets along well with her four legged foster brothers, she loves to play with them and is very submissive.
Thea has successfully managed crate and toilet training for her perfect home to allow her full access inside. Yes she is a working breed and she’ll ‘work’ her way into your heart, onto your lounge, or in front of your warm fire.
Thea will need very secure fencing, at least 1.8m high.
Thea is good with children. She is untested with cats and pocket pets in foster care.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
