Talullah ~ 9mo Koolie X (On Trial 02/08/2020)

This striking girl is Talullah. Talullah is a 9 month old Coolie x Kelpie. She is only a small girl, around 15 kg, but full of personality. Dog Rescue Newcastle are helping my owners find a new home for me.
Talullah am a very friendly girl, who has lots of energy. Her new home needs to commit with meeting her exercise needs. Talullah need at least an hour of exercise every day. We would love for her to go to a home with working dog experience, someone who not only knows the rewards of a working breed, but also understands their physical and mental needs.
I am looking for a home where she won’t be left alone for full time hours, or even better a home where she can accompany you to work. Talullah needs a family that is committed to spending lots of time with her and incorporating her into their daily lives.
Talullah gets along with dogs and currently lives with another dog, but sadly is bullying the placid dog she is living with, which is the reason for her rehoming. Even though Talullah is only 9 months old, she thinks she is alpha dog so we are looking for a home with either no other dog, or if you have another dog, an older male dog who can show her how to behave would be the best fit. Talullah does see other dogs daily at an off leash dog park with no problems.

She is housetrained and need to be allowed inside all the time. She just wants to be right near you after all. Talullah is crate trained and currently sleeps in my crate inside overnight. Talullah is a smart girl and has already mastered basic training and a number of tricks including, sit, drop and spin to name a few. Plus she is food oriented so should pick up any new training quickly.
She has been exposed to children and is fine around them. She is untested with cats and pocket pets in foster care.
