About Astrid (AKA KFC)
KFC has been in rescue since April, the only reason for this is because she is a wonderful cat to have around. She is easy to care for and she is entertaining with her quirky little nature.
KFC got her name due to where she was rescued, its a nickname but it has stuck. Due to working from home, she has become a favourite with my co-workers due to her quirky nature and desire to be up close to the camera.
KFC is not a lap cat, she is a shoulder cat, she loves to sit behind you on the couch and nudge her head into yours. She is affectionate and really sweet in nature. She is incredibly gentle, due to this she would not go well with children under 10 as she doesn't protect herself. She likes to be around me and shares my desk space with the other rescues.
KFC would need to be with another cat, she really likes their company as she was a colony cat when she was on the streets.
Her quirky behaviours are entertaining. If a cat annoys her she will lift her paw up and they will back away its such a gentle reaction, but effective, she must be saying something really bad for them to back off from a gentle action.
She communicates with her head twitches and does little dances when you are responding to her. She is a really lovely girl and will make a great companion.
