About Lola
Lola is a soft natured girl who would suit a patient home willing to spend a day building her confidence, and able to help her settle into a new home.
Lola is toilet trained, crate trained, and also undergone a board and train with Take the Lead Canine Services.
Lola is brilliant in the car.
Lola has not lived with another dog before, but gets along well with our resident deerhound. We think she would be suitable to live in a home with a dog of similiar size, and with a similar sensible temperament.
We consider Lola trainable with cats. She has not lived with a cat before, but with training, we believe she could live with a cat. She is not suitable to allow off-lead and unsupervised with a cat at this time.
Lola was surrendered for snapping at a child, and she has shown some propensity to snap around food. We are not willing to place Lola in a home with young children because of this low-level aggression, and we believe Lola is most suited to an experienced home.
Being a somewhat-nervous dog, Lola can be easily alarmed by things in her environment (e.g. the postman, neighbour noise, etc), so would need a home that understand that Lola can bark, especially when she is stressed and settling into a new home.
Lola comes with a two week trial period.
Lola's adoption fee is $200. She is located in Hamley Bridge.
If you are interested in meeting Lola, please call Tegan between 8am and 8pm on 0421 506 482. Please note that phone calls are preferred, but if you are deaf or hard-of-hearing, or suffer telephone phobia, text messages are acceptable.
