About Peri
Calling all humans! If you're looking for a loyal companion Peri could be the girl for you.
Loving and affectionate, Peri loves to communicate with people. Yes, that's right - she likes to 'talk', using her musical vocal tones to let you know when she wants your attention, assistance or just to have a chat! Because she loves talking with people so much, Peri is looking for a home where there is someone around for the majority of the day as she enjoys company. It's no fun talking to herself!
Back, neck and rump rubs are high up on her list of favourite things, and she loves to be groomed, so you won't need to chase her around the house with the brush - she's ready and raring to go for this!
Peri enjoys toys and playing with her humans in the yard. She's been great with the children she has met and knows they are part of her 'pack', accepting them and not bothering them when they are otherwise occupied.
Currently living with another dog, Peri likes to try and teach them how to fetch balls and does like to be the boss at times. There has been interactive play between them, however they mostly did their own thing. She hasn't met a cat or smaller pets, so her acceptance of them in her life is unknown.
She loves a good walk and coming home to curl up on a nice comfy bed to nap the rest of the day away, although she is easily enticed to play a game or two. She is a sweet older girl who may be nine years old but she doesn't know it!
A connoisseur of all food, Peri likes anything that's put in front of her, from dry food to liver treats to fruit and vegetables.
Peri's adoption is an assisted adoption via the PetRescue Home2Home program.
Medical notes
Peri is a happy and healthy girl.
