About Echo
🌸🦋 ECHO 🦋🌸
Meet Echo, she is a Kelpie/Terrier mixed breed 🥰
Echo is an absolute gem of a dog, she may be small but this little pocket rocket has a big snuggly and playful personality 🥰😍 she is very agile and a quick little thing! She pounces like a rabbit, and when she gets really wound up (zoomie time!!!), boy can she run! :O
This special girl is very intelligent! She picks up training very quickly, she has all of her basic training down pat, still working on leash skills but have to give her a little credit, she is still a puppy ;) at only approx 6 months old. The big wide world is so exciting!
Echo is fantastic and patient with young children, dog savvy children will do better with her as mentioned she is still a puppy and can get excited with them. Though she tries so hard to be gentle with them 🥰💖 She will happily play all day long with her human foster sister who is 5yrs old. They play fetch, run around together, play tug of war and often Echo just likes following her around the yard getting into all sorts of dirt play and mischief :P
Echo is crate trained, however she sleeps in an extra large crate with another doggy for company, as when she was in a crate by herself it stressed her out :( She is super snuggly and always wanting to please 🥰💖
Echo is great with all other dogs, however over the top boisterous dogs do make her nervous. She will need a home with another friendly, playful dog for company whilst her humans are out. As she does have slight seperation anxiety, after a few days and time to bond with the other dog she will settle down in her home and not try to escape to get to the humans (she loooooves humans alot!) 💖💖
She is also good with cats, doesnt bark or chase them 😊 will leave them alone if they tell her off :) Echo really is the perfect doggo! She would love an active home with a very large yard or property 😊 and a family willing to include her in the family, take her on adventures. Even perhaps look into dog sports or agility, she would love that!!
If you would like to meet this very special girl, please message for an application 💝
Medical notes
Slight seperation anxiety. Must be homed with another dog.
NO CHICKENS, OR BIRDS OF ANY KIND. No small pocket pets. Unless theyre in a very secure pen/cage. Echo has a prey drive for them.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
