Introducing Abby.

Hey my name is Abby. I’m about 3 years old and I’m still getting used to the idea of living with people. I had a rough start to my life and was living outdoors but thankfully my health is perfect!

I am quite shy towards humans but I will come and watch what you’re doing especially if it involves food. I get on really well with other cats and am a bit of a mum figure as I have had at least one litter of kittens. I like my own private space and I will be upset if it’s invaded. I only get upset when I feel trapped and I will not hurt you. I need someone very patient who will sit in the room with me and talk to me until I learn that they are safe, someone who understands that they need to respect my space and how to read my body cues when I’m stressed. Please do not try and touch me, just let me get used to you from a distance.

I am really cute and have a plush fluffy coat and I make the cutest mews when walking about the house. I might not ever like to be held but I really like being out of the wet and cold, being safe and having all the food and care I need.

Abby has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated. She is living in Renown Park with her foster family and her adoption fee is $90.
