About Smokey
*In foster care in Rosebery, Sydney*
Smokey is a ball of fun - he loves playing with his siblings, exploring his surroundings, and chasing teaser toys with his foster family more than anything else in the world!
This beautiful grey-and-white kitten also enjoys a bit of sport on the TV (he's mesmerised by anything colourful and fast-moving!), and will occasionally take a short break from his activities to plop down on the sofa and chill out with you.
Like all Maggie's pets, Smokey is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I just want to feel loved and protected, in a warm environment with lots of cuddles and playtime! Not too much to ask, surely? :) I'm looking for an indoor-only home as that's where I feel safest, though a secure outdoor area or enclosure would also be suitable.
If you're open to adopting not just one but TWO amazing cats, I have good news for you - I'm particularly close to my brother Boots, who is also looking for a loving new home! You can see his profile here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/783182 Or if you already have a friendly resident kitty or two, I'd be so thrilled as I really enjoy feline company.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: When I'm awake, I have a lot of energy to burn and am always on the go! But I'm also a champion sleeper too, when it's time to recharge.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm likely to get on well with calm, gentle children. I do scratch and bite sometimes when you touch my belly, and while it's only playful - I'm not trying to hurt you - younger kids will need to be aware of that.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: My siblings are great fun, and I'd love a permanent kitty companion in my new home! (My brother Boots, ideally!) I haven't met any dogs yet.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
