Meet Josie! Our 8 month old Mini Schnauzer X Terrier 🥰 who is ready to find her furever home!
Josie may be small, but she has a huge personality! 😍😍 Even though this girl had the crappiest start to life :( living her entire life on chain 💔 since the day she was let off that chain nothing can stop her now 😁
This little athlete is affectionately named the "scruffy pocket rocket". Lucky her foster carer has a nice big yard, because this girl LOVES to run!!! Especially with other dogs, she likes playing "chase me" 💞 Josie is a little ninja, she will literally jump over, on and run under the other big dogs 😂 Josie needs a home with a very large yard or even property would be fantastic for this cutie!
Josie is also very clever! She knows 'sit', 'down', is crate trained and house trained 💜 Josie is still working on her leash skills, as you can imagine the big wide world is a very exciting place for someone who hasnt been able to experience it before. But we are sure with a committed furever family to continue her training that she will become a superstar in no time 😍🥰
Josie seems to love water too! She jumped right into the pool for a swim :O she loved it 😍 she also looooves to play fetch, she can go for hours! And tug of war, she will play that too. Just your typical playful young girl!
Josie is great with other dogs, big and small. And would love a home with another dog to play with, a dog who is confident and relaxed 😊 Josie can be quite intrigued by cats and bark at them and chase, so likely best in a home without cats. She is also mostly good with dog savvy kids over 5; however can get overexcited so will need a family willing to continue working on this with her 😊😊
This beautiful scruffy girl is super sweet, she is just so eager to please her humans all the time 🥰 she loves attention and will do the cutest little woofy talk when she wants a pat or cuddle 🥰💖

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
