About Gavin (Lab Release Piggy) and Beeps
Gavin was part of a Laboratory release that took place on the 23rd of February 2020. This group of guinea pigs, under the 'right to release' bill were not required for their planned experimentation and they chose to release them into the care of rescue rather than euthanize. As you imagine, he is extremely lucky.
This little group of piggies we know were from 6 - 10 weeks of age, so we have declared a chosen date of 8 weeks of age as at the time he came into care.
Beeps has become buddies with Gavin who was a rescue from the recent Lab releases back in Feb 2020. Beeps came into rescue from Pocket Pet Sanctuary where he was underweight and bone thin. Beeps was 2 years and 1 month old as at the 11th July 2020. He has flourished and found his buddy Gavin to be his best buddy. Beeps is a little more apprehensive of people as he came from a bad situation and it has take some time to rehabilitate him.
They would love to find a home together. They need a minimum cage space of 150 x 60cm floor space. They ideally would like to be indoors. Beeps responds well to being picked up in a tunnel and then into your hands or a cuddle sack.
These boys are so very pretty and want to find a good home together. They do not want loud noises that will frighten them but a gentle environment that they can start to show their personalities.
They are so very lucky to be given a second chance.

Please note that there is an adoption process and in order to ensure that the animals have a safe environment to go to there are some questions that need to be addressed.
We do not want impulse purchases and this adoption process is in order to ensure that piggies and bunnies in care will find safe and loving homes and families.
If you are such a family - I would love to hear from you.
Thanks, Lyn
