About Munchkin
With love and affection, we would like to introduce a special white/ginger boy named Munchkin. Here is his story:
Hi potential forever hooman! My name is Munchkin. For most of my young life, I have lived in a park in Punchbowl, a known dumping ground for unwanted kitties. I don’t know what I did, or why, but I was left here at a very young age (around 3-6 months old). Luckily, I adjusted quickly and well into the resident cat colony. I love the other cats and often rub up against them in affection. I have a gentle nature.
I was named Munchkin because I was the smallest (and cutest!) of the kitties in the group. I live in the park and storm drains mostly. I like to sunbathe in the park. And when there are friendly humans around, I like to say hello.
I'm lucky that there were kind cat carers who fed me daily. I would wait for them every day, and always greeted them by meowing, waving my fluffy tail and rubbing myself against the tree in excitement. I would even let them give me pats and head scratches too. After a few months, I started following one of the carers home and soon was comfortable enough to come for food from her veranda!
Unfortunately, my best mate at the park was run over this year, and my carer became concerned for my safety. The street that I live on currently has a lot of apartments being built which means a lot more traffic like trucks and cars. My carer managed to get me safely into a crate on her balcony, and I have been in her care since. I'm getting used to the litter tray, being cared for, and regular pats and scratches. Oh I have learnt how to play for the first time too! I'm good with other cats and dogs, as long as they are nice with me.
If you have some room in your heart, some space in your home and bed, and can benefit from some animal companionship, I’m your gentle little guy! If you are interested please get in contact. I'm currently living in a crate to keep me safe on a balcolny in Punchbowl.
I can’t wait to meet you.
