About Tex (on trial in new home)
Hi my names Tex
I’m such a cruisy and laid back guy for a kelpie
I currently live on property with my foster mum and enjoy following her around helping with chores.
I am great with the dogs, cats, the resident pig & am learning to stay out of the horse paddocks when told.
I am a sweet little fellow who loves food, which means i'll be easy to train and eager to learn. I would benefit from a home keen to take me to puppy school and continue my socialization and training. I am crate trained and hold over night, but will need my new family to continue helping me out.
I am a submissive man so would love a home with a confident dog to show me the ropes off the big wide world but would be equally as happy with awesome parents. I love cuddles, riding in the car and am super affectionate.
a home with a medium/ large yard or property with suitable fencing would suit, preferably a home with working dog experience
My foster mum says im great! If you would like to meet me please send a brief description of the home you can provide and we will send you an adoption application form.
You can meet me in whittlesea
** please note, my mum doesn't know what i'm crossed with but she thinks all kelpie and expect i will mature medium in size or upto 25kg

Adoption details
Our adoption process has 5 stages -
#1 A brief description of your home-
We ask that you send an inquiry with a brief description of the home that you can provide and why you think your home is suitable for the animal you are inquiring about.
Please note: if you do not send a brief description of the home that you can provide we will not continue with the adoption process
#2 Some questions-
You will receive an adoption application form within 24 hours of your inquiry being sent
#3 Photo's of your yard - Applicable for dogs only -
Please provide photos of your yard including sheltered area from sun and rain
#4 Meet & greet - With other dog/s if you have any -
You will receive an email within 72 hours of sending your application in which will let you know if your application has been successful. We will then organise a meet and greet
*PLEASE NOTE*: Not all applications are successful. We aim to match our animals to their perfect homes, sometimes there are many homes suitable but unfortunately only one animal.
Organized MEET AND GREETS do not guarantee the adoption of our of our animals. Eden Ark have the final say in the meet and greet process, If we feel our animal will not suit your family the trial period will not go ahead.
#5 A 7 day trial period -
If your meet is successful we ask that you have everything ready to take your new family member home that day. if this isn't possible, prior arrangement MUST be made - please understand we are not in a position to hold animals for you.
Adoption fee must be paid in cash on the day if your meet and greet is successful to start your 7 day trial period.
Once your 7 day trial period is complete,
Welcome to the Eden Ark Family!
