**Adoption Pending** Kohana

Medium Female Akita x German Sh Pointer

Located in Western Australia

Not available for interstate adoption

Kohana comes from a litter of 5. Her name is japanese for "little flower". She started off being the weakest of the litter, but after just one week of intensive nutrition and loving, she's blossomed into this 'not so little' puppy who's tail won't stop wagging, a sniffer nose that is constantly looking for any source of fun, a belly that just begs to be rubbed and squishy jowls that crave to be kissed to death. She is now the more boisterous and mischievous pup, though as all puppies do, she tires quick, goes off for a snooze, then she's back in to tumbling with her siblings or foster kids. She will grow to very large in size. She is still trying to build up muscle and fat on her body, so is slimmer than her siblings, but she is catching up to them everyday. Her foster family has lots of young kids and the 10yo and kohana have formed a special loving bond. They play and run and tumble together a lot, but spend most of the time snuggled up on the couch together. Kohana needed the most 1-on-1 care when she came to us at 5wks old, as she was so malnourished, so she is very addicted to cuddles and kisses. Her favourite sleeping spot is right in the middle of all her siblings. Due to her breeding, she will not suit a family with other small animals (cats, rabbits, chickens etc) as she will view them merely as fun mobile chew toys. The new family will have to also agree to taking her to obedience training to ensure she grows to be a well mannered awesome member of her family
