About Finn
Finn is a bright boy. He enjoys checking out what you are doing, following you around, and gently tasting you when you give him a pat.
While Finn is 9 years old, he doesn't 'act old'. Finn is a purebred border terrier (a copy of his pedigree is available), and the breed often lives to 15 years of age or more.
Finn has been a 'kennel dog' all his life. He needs a patient home that will give him time to adjust to household things like vacuum cleaners and washing machines. Finn is not technically house trained, but he does avoid toileting in his kennel here at Leema Rescue, suggesting he won't be hard to train. Finn is overall a confident dog and we sure he'll love his new life as a pet!
Finn is untested with children and cats.
Finn is good with other dogs, but it's important for him to meet another dog in the household before he goes to a new home. Finn is available for adoption with his friend, Annie (a 12 year old border terrier), but we understand that it's not likely we will be able to secure adoption for two senior dogs together.
Finn is not available for adoption interstate 'sight unseen'. (Adopters who travel to SA to meet her will be considered.)
