About Marbles
ππ MARBLES ππ
Introducing 6 month old, Marbles π₯°
Marbles has a bit of a story to tell, his story began when a caring lady found him at the DUMP in Cairns, Qld!! :O In awful condition. This lady provided him with love and care as much as she could, but this frightened little kitten (who at the time would have only been about 8 or so weeks old) just wasnt progressing in her busy household :( and so reached out to us through a mutual contact.
We couldnt say no! So we got him on the next plane to Brisbane! He has since been in our care for 3 months now, and he has been doing well. Slowly gaining confidence and learning to trust ππ
He has become especially snuggly and loves receiving attention π He is still frightened by loud noises and new people, however is improving every day with this π
Marbles loves when his humans give him scratches and starts to purr instantly, this is his favourite thing π
Marbles needs a relatively quiet home, with no children (their noises can be a bit scary). He is great with dogs, and we are sure he will likely be ok with the company of another cat when introduced properly ππ
If you would like to meet Marbles, please message for an application π
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 7 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
