About Orla
🌼🌼 ORLA 🌼🌼
Orla which means Irish princess 👸
Is a beautiful Irish wolfhound who at 20 months is just under 50 kgs 😍
She is very gentle and aware of her size, quite rare in a large breed :) Orla can sit, drop and sometimes shake 💖 She does come when called most of the time she can be quite aloof.
Orla is cat friendly and small dog friendly. She is not food aggressive and is happy to eat next to other dogs 😊 Orla loves toys 🧸 big fan.
She is not overly active she has spurts of energy she does enjoy dog friends and she loves to stretch out her long legs, so a large yard space is ideal.
When someone leaves she does become a little upset, especially when its her favourite people leaving. She is quite the social butterfly 🦋 She is an early riser after a quick lick on the face she is just happy to say goodmorning ☀️
She is a quick learner, even uses a doggy door. Orla has a very sweet temperament and is very gentle, kind and loving 🥰 her foster carers and everyone that meets her are smitten 🥰 she has so much love to give she is very special 💖💖
If you would like to meet Orla, please message for an application 💝
**Location: Upper Coomera area, Qld. No interstate adoptions**
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 7 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
