About Denver *Adopted*
Denver is a bit of a spunk and has all the ladies wrapped around his little paw! Denver was found on the streets of Embleton (Morley) enjoying his freedom before he was round up and taken to the local vet to be microchip checked - sadly, like most cases we see through the rescue he didn't have a microchip. After an extensive search his owners were never found! We were lucky to get the call and little Denver came into our care! He was a little shy at the start but has really come out of his shell and proven to be a really cheeky little bun. Loves his cardboard boxes, apparently the higher the boxes are the better! You can hear him zooming around in the cat tunnels and knocking his treat toy wobbler over trying to get the pellets :)
Denver appears to have been a well loved pet and arrived into our care in great condition. Denver weighed in today 1.97kg and is a small-medium sized bun. He has been well handled and at times can be very confident (once he knows his surroundings).
Denver isn't fussy with his food and has been on a good diet with Vetafarm/Oxbow pellets, plenty of fresh oaten hay, wide variety of vegetables and herbs with some fruit (limited amounts). Although he was without hay for sometime whilst being out on the streets, he is certainly making up for that loss now! We call him a hay monster for the sheer amount of hay he has been eating since he arrived. Denver does LOVE apple slices and has an epic butt twitch when he gets his treat early!
We estimate Denver to be approx 8 months old. Yes, he has been desexed/vaccinated/microchipped by The Unsual Pet Vets.
Denver would suit being a single spoilt bunny or could eventually be bonded to a desexed female. We are looking for a lovely forever home for Denver and know the right family is out there for him. Ideally, we would be looking for a family where Denver would be indoors and be apart of everyday living.
Denver's adoption fee is $185 which includes his desexing, vaccination and microchip at The Unusual Pet Vets.
Medical notes
Denver has been thoroughly vet checked by The Unsual Pet Vets. No medical issues noted.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view our beautiful rabbits. We love them all and know you will too!
If you would like to know more regarding our rescue or considering adopting one of our precious bunnies, please contact us via phone or email. After our chat, if it sounds like you may be a suitable match we will send you through a application form (step 1).
Once we have received your forms and feel you would be a good fit for our rescue bun/buns, we will arrange a time for you to meet (step 2). On occasions (at our discretion) we may organise a house check to ensure that your setup is safe and secure. If all parties are happy to proceed, an adoption fee is paid and your welcome to take your new family member home on a 2 week trial (step 3). If after or anytime during the trial you are certain your new family member is going nowhere, the decision is made final and we make the adoption official! (step 4). On the other hand, if you have a change of mind or circumstance we ask you to contact us as soon as possible so we can make immediate arrangements for their return to the rescue.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
