About Tack
Hi my name is Tack and I'm a pretty shy guy. Don't let that put you off though because I am a gorgeous, soft and fluffy cuddle machine in training! I was really unhappy at the shelter, but luckily a nice foster family took me in to their house. It's pretty scary for me still, and I have spent a whole week hiding under the bed. I will let foster mum pat me and scratch my head (and I secretly like it), but I'm still not confident enough to come out of hiding. I'm a quiet and gentle soul, a good eater, and I always use my litter tray. I'm looking for a patient and understanding family to take me in and love me. Because I'm so shy, I will need a family that is willing to give me the time I need to come out of my shell. I won't lie, I might spend weeks hiding at first, but don't forget about me. If you sit with me and scratch my head and give me treats, I will become your best friend! My favorite treats are canned salmon and sardines. That strong smell is too much for me to resist! I could probably get used to any type of household with enough time and slow introductions. My foster family includes a child and he pats me gently so I think he's ok and I didn't even hiss at him. Although I can smell another cat and a dog, I haven't met them yet so I don't know how I feel about them. Maybe I could get along with other animals if they are friendly and gentle.

Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
