About Darcy
💝❤❤ DARCY ❤❤💝
Darcy is ready to start looking for his furever home!! Darcy is an approx 8 week old possible Pointer X (possibly crossed with staffy or a small/medium breed), he is pretty much a "Rescue Breed" 😍😍😍. Darcy will likely grow to be about medium in size.
Darcy is an absolute delight to have around, so full of character! He loves nothing more than to hang out on the couch with his human all day long. Darcy is crate trained, and mostly house trained, he will go to the door and let you know he needs to toilet. He will also whimper at you from his crate when he needs to toilet. He is very clever.
He is slowly learning to sit and wait. And has learnt how to play fetch, he also loves his teddies. Especially his sloth teddy, this will be presented to the human on the couch as payment for letting him on the couch with them 😂 Darcy is very much an indoors kind of pup, although he loves the outdoors too, he much prefers to be inside with his humans 🥰
Darcy is a very cuddly fella and he bonds strongly with his favourite person in the house, he is great with kids and big dogs. Even met some kittens at the vet and loved trying to play with them through the cage.
He does have a hernia, this is something that will be fixed when he is desexed at 6 months of age 😊😊 he is a very healthy puppy, looooves his food! Except chicken necks those things look weird and deserve to be barked at :P 😂
If you would like to meet Darcy, the loveable goofball, please message for an application 💗
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 7 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
