About Ming
Everyone who meets Ming is charmed by her endearing personality.
""Ming"" is Chinese for bright, light and clear...
Things weren't always clear for Ming. We love her wrinkles and her special charm is many fold, just like her skin, but unfortunately some of those folds weren't being very helpful. Her eyelids drooped across her eyes and she was unable to see very much.
Since she has been with SAFE she's had a little nip and tuck surgery so she can now see things - bright, light and clear :)
Ming is an excellent companion. She loves to lay - softly snoring - in a sunny spot. She has a very calm nature and is good with children who are good with dogs.
Ming is in good condition and does not suffer ongoing skin problems like many of her breed. She is good with most other dogs but wouldn't be suited to a very dominant dog as she prefers to be the boss.
She's not suited to living with cats.
Ming has a few life scars... unfortunately she seems to have had several litters of puppies in her previous life, she also had a chronic flea infestation which resulted in some scarring and hair loss around her tail and also, she had a chronic ear infection in both ears. She was also cursed with narrow ear canals which didn't help and although we have cleared up the ear infections she doesn't hear exceptionally well. However, Ming is a girl who doesn't let life's trials get her down, despite all these little things she is a happy dog who is always pleased to greet people.
Ideally Ming would be best suited to a home where people enjoyed a gentle stroll but mostly would like the company of a special dog.
