About Leo
If you love bigger dogs but don’t want high exercise needs or boisterousness then you have found your perfect match right here with Leo.
Hi I’m Leo, although I think that my full name is 'Leo Such A Good Boy So Gentle' because that’s what everyone keeps saying.
My foster Mum calls me the 'gentle giant' as I am super laid back and calm and give sweet gentle smooches. I take food ever so delicately from your hand when you offer it to me too. Apparently I’m very low-maintenance but I don’t know what that means.
I don’t jump up at all but I do get excited to see you because I know that everyone deserves a happy dance and prance around as a welcome home when they’ve been out.
I love to go out for walks (I’m told that I’m good on a lead) and for rides in the car.
I’m so calm and sweet that I can go visit at the nursing home, all the people there love me and say how much I brighten up their day.
I enjoy going to the café while my foster Mum has a coffee. People there pat me as they go past and remark about what a lovely boy I am.
I didn’t really know how to play before but since I’ve been with my foster family I’m getting the hang of it. I love the company of my doggie foster brothers but I’m not silly or boisterous and I don’t need to burn off energy like my foster brother. I’m happy pottering around and sniffing things.
I haven’t seen any cats before so I don’t know if I like them or not. I do know that I’m completely relaxed with the little tiny doggie and with the parrot, and I haven’t come across any dogs or people (including the little humans) that I haven’t liked.
I sleep soundly all night in my bed on the floor without a peep and my foster Mum tells everyone that I have a 500 gallon bladder because I can hold for so long without going to the toilet and I’ve never, ever had an accident.
I love pats, smooches, cuddles and being with my people. I enjoy going out and seeing and sniffing new places but I also like to lay around home with everyone too.
My foster Mum thought that I didn’t know how to bark because I almost never do. When my doggie foster brothers bark or the neighbourhood dogs bark I don’t join in, I just go see what they’re talking about.
Oh I just have to say that I’m actually quite a good looking boy too, very handsome so I’m told, so come and see me soon. I’m very huggable and you just might fall in love.
Love Leo
