About Chrissy
Chrissy gave birth at the pound the night before we picked her up. She was timid and very underweight. She was only 31.6kg when she came in and is now 38kg and the pups are adopted. She is an active girl who walks well on loose lead but she is strong. She is still very puppyish. She has a smooth coat.
Walkers say: "walked with encouragement. Ignored cars. Very slow, enjoyed being patted and belly rubs. Sits on command. Slow walk, stopped for a rest. Likes treats. Looked at other dogs but didn’t lunge.”
Chrissy has high prey drive and not suitable with small dogs, cats or pocket pets. She would be best as the only dog in the household.
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
Suit Full Time Worker: Not overly needy and can entertain itself. DR recommends play time, dog toys etc.
Medical notes
She comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
