Hi, Im Claire, im an 11 week old mixed breed, im one of Hope's puppies from Weipa <3
I am really calm, my carer tells me im much calmer than my sister Kate who i get to hang out with until we find our furever homes, I love to snuggle and just chill out on your lap. I'm most happy when I'm getting belly rubs or playing tug of war!
I have learnt very quickly to sit, out, wait and bed! 😍😍Apparently that makes me a good girl <3 I wait for my food until told but need to learn how to slow down while eating, ive spent so long with my brothers and sisters ive not yet learnt that this food is mine and I dont have to share anymore.
I'm not big on playing with toys so much but I am very loyal and rather follow my carers around or play with my sister. I am calm and confident with sleeping outside and I promise I don't make a peep through the night as I love to sleep, its my most favourite activity.
I travel well in the car and I'm very outgoing but can get a little bit anxious when I dont have my carers guidance, I believe though that once I find my furever home where I can finally settle in properly, that my confidence will get much better!!
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 7 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
