About Arnie
🥰🥰 ARNIE 🥰🥰
Arnie is a gorgeous 4yr old Terrier mix who is a small package with a lot of spark 😁
He is a very energetic boy who loves to play. He enjoys a rumble with other dogs and messing around with kids. He would suit an energetic family with young kids or playful dogs willing to take him with them on their adventures.
He is great with children of all ages, adults and other dogs, given his temperament he may be ok with cats, but is untested.
When Arnie settles down for the evening he is such a loving boy, he enjoys to sit on laps or will just snooze beside you as long as there is some physical contact 💕 He loves to curl up in bed with you at night too, so his furever family must be prepared to share their bed ;)
When nervous, excited or scared he needs to be held tight for reassurance. He is toilet trained and has basic training including sitting and standing for treats, he will need a firm owner for further training and obedience lessons as he currently has a mind of his own ;) He also requires secure fencing as when left alone he tends to play an attention seeking game of escape the yard then wait at the front gate until someone notices, or visit the neighbours for some pats :P
He is very clever, cute as a button and loves to be loved 🥰🥰
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 7 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
