About Diamontie
Recently arrived to Gippsland Greyhounds is Diamontie, or affectionately called Monte by her foster carers.
Monte is blessed with lovely looks and a happy affectionate nature, always wagging her tail to everyone she meets. Her foster carers have found her to be an absolute delight.
Delighting in her new found freedom of being able to use the doggy door, Monte takes great pleasure of coming and going as she pleases and having a leafy garden to romp in is pure bliss. Monte can be a bit mischievous however this is due to exploring her new surroundings but even though she tends to pick up objects, she is by no means destructive, more like the nature of an inquisitive puppy. One object that she loves to pick up and carry around is her food bowl, letting you know that dinner time is nigh.
Monte walks nicely on the lead and is good car traveller and is also very clean in the house. However she is not cat friendly.
Monte does have an eye condition called Panus which requires daily eye drops to protect her from losing her sight. Panus is an easily managed condition and not very expensive to maintain.
All our greyhounds are desexed, vaccinated, registered at Central Animal Records and come with a coat, muzzle, collar and lead.
