About Tilly
Tilly is a gorgeous friendly Lab x Collie. She will be four at the end of March. Tilly is a smaller-than-normal lab due to her mix and is currently at 26kgs. Tilly is affectionate, loving, kind, and will let you rub her tummy all day long. Tilly can sit, lie down and wait for her food before given a command to eat - Tilly is one clever and special girl. She is still learning the house rules on when it is ok to jump onto furniture and beds, but is fully toilet trained.
Tilly just loves playing games such as Tug of War, chasing after a ball and running around with her foster carer’s children (2 & 4 years). Tilly has grown up in a family with two small girls so she loves being around children. Tilly walks well on a lead and will need regular exercise and room to run. Tilly will need high fences as she is very athletic and can jump very high. Tilly is untested at beaches and with cats, but has loved being with her Labrador foster brother and would go well with another dog if matched up.
Tilly would suit an active young family that has time to give her the love she deserves, and the exercise that will keep her fit and healthy.
Adoption details
Please go to the website http://www.rescuealabrador.com/
to submit an adoption application. Please click on the adopt a dog link on the left hand side of the screen and complete the questions if you are interested in adopting aLabrador.
We will not discuss specific dogs with you until you have completed this questionnaire as this allows us to establish which dogs are potential matches for your lifestyle.
Once we have found a suitable match to your family, we will allow you to contact the appropriate foster carer who will discuss the dog in more detail with you.
Once you are both satisfied that this is a good match you will be able to meet the Lab. If all goes well, you will be able to take the dog on a 2 week trial. You will complete the adoption paperwork and pay the adoption fee at this stage.
At the end of the 2 week trial you will be able to adopt the Lab and we will submit the microchip transfer to the council.
