About Dee
Hello!
My name is Dee and I am a gorgeous cream coloured Kelpie pup. I am only nine months old, so I have lots of energy to run and play, but I have also learnt to be calm and relaxed inside.
I love other dogs, big and small, and I also have discovered that I love the beach, I went just yesterday and swam in after the other dogs! I played with some dogs that I didn't know and I was a 'very good girl' as my foster mum says.
I have loved learning new things, I can sit, shake and wait for my dinner. I think I would be a really good dog for obedience training and I have lots of potential- I could do agility or maybe even sheep herding! I am very good at walking on the lead and LOVE being the centre of attention for pats, cuddles, food...whatever! But I will also just take myself off to my bed and lay down when I feel the need.
When my foster mum takes me to cafes, I have learnt to sit and chill out under the table and be on my best behaviour. I am also learning to be gentle with little kids- I love them but have started to learn not to paw at them in case I scratch them.
Everyone says I look like a true blue Dingo, but my mum was a Red and Tan kelpie, and I definitely get my beautiful looks from her, if not my colouring.
Do you want a gorgeous kelpie like me to be your best friend? I'd love to meet you so you can see how awesome I am for yourself!
See you soon!
Love Dee! Woof! xx
Adoption details
Please go to our website to complete an adoption application form for this dog. www.soulmates4lifedogrescue.com.au/adopt/apply
Filling out an adoption application does not commit you to adopting a dog.
Once we receive your application we will put you in contact with the dog's foster carer to have a chat about the dog and whether it is the right fit for your family. The carer will then arrange a meet and greet with you and your potential new dog.
A volunteer from our rescue will also contact you to arrange a home inspection to make sure the home and yard is safe and secure. If all goes well, the dog will go on a 21 day trial to make sure that they dog fits into your lifestyle. And then you will live happily furever after.
Please note that there is no trial period for puppies, only for adult dogs over the age of 6 months.
