About October **Adopted & On Trial With My New Family**
“In the entire circle of the year there are no days so delightful as those of a fine October” - Alexander Smith.
You can have delightful days all year around if you adopt this little lady!
Sweet natured and gentle, October would make an excellent addition to any home!
She came into care with her mum Sally, and 7 kittens between them! They had been living outdoors, cared for by some kind community members. The duo did a great job raising their babies together, but being barely older than a kitten herself, October has grander dreams of a home where she can be the centre of attention!
This little smoocher loves a good scratch behind the ear and a cuddle on the couch. She likes to be in the company of people, but is happy to spend most of her day napping in a cozy spot.
October’s gentle nature means she would be fine for a family with children. She is not keen other cats, but might okay after a slow introduction. Unfortunately, due to October’s rough start in life, she may be a cat flu virus carrier (a very common condition) and is not recommended to go to homes with non-carriers. If you were looking to start a multi-cat home, you could always adopt her beautiful mother or one of her kittens as well! October has not been tested with dogs.
Due to her pale colouring, October is at risk of skin cancer and needs to be an indoor only cat.
