1) Generally

Good with Kids + 8 yrs due size

Size 27 kgs
2) Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks
Harley is fun, playful, smart, active and outdoorsy. Good with dogs , cats and kids he will make a great jogging partner or snuggle buddy on the couch. While he loves water, especially the beach, he does not like a bath.
3) Ideal Owner
Harley will suit an active, outdoorsy family wanting to share fun and good times with a loyal and happy four pawed character. He is ok with kids but may accidentally knock a small child over.
Harley is ok for full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as he is a central focus when people are home. Another permanent friendly dog would be nice for him but not essential.
He will not suit homes where people live in very close proximity with court yards e.g. villas or units.
As Harley is people orientated he needs to be part of family activities.
He will not suit homes with residents that are very young, frail, elderly, renters or time poor.
4) Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Harley will alert to something strange but can be commanded to stop barking.
Harley will suit any of the following:
- someone home more often than not,
- stay at home parent,
- someone that works from home,
- part time workers,
- empty nesters,
- active retirees,
- full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as he is a central focus when folks are home.

Needs some work - pulls but will learn and improve.
7) When OFF a lead ...

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS (simple and easy)
1. Read the dog's detailed profile thoroughly - for you to self screen
2. The Expression of Interest (EOI) form MUST be completed prior to a meet and greet.
https://www.dogadoption.org.au/expression-of-interest---adoption.html
3. Speak to the carer/owner directly for more detailed info to determine if there are any 'deal breakers' - designed to save time and avoid falsely raising hopes.
4. 'Meet & Greet' - you travel to where the dog is. If you have a current dog it must meet too. We strongly recommend all members of the family attend. Both parties may wish to report their thoughts to each other but MUST update Dog Adoption directly too.
5. The dog MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS have been made e.g. travelling more then 2 hrs round trip. In this case we need a minimum of 2 days notice. The adoption agreement and payment must be made before collection of the dog.
6. Normally, both parties have a think about the meeting, and if they wish to proceed, the adoption is completed after the adoption agreement, payment and screening is finalised.
7. A 2 week cooling off period commences once the dog arrives.
