About Sarge

Sarge is a sweet well behaved boy who was born into rescue, then adopted, then due to no fault of his was returned back to rescue for family reasons :(
This baby is only 4.5 months old! And a very lovable mix of large breeds, he is a Mastiff/Shar Pei X Bull Arab/Husky :O i know right! what a mix!
Sarge is a bit more reserved than his playful sister, however does love playing with other dogs (is submissive when playing too), and absolutely adores children. He is very obedient, hhe knows sit, down, and get back. He walks ok on lead, but still learning :) Sarge will follow you around all day long if he could, he just wants to be with you. He gives the most smoochiest hugs too!
Sarge is also a great guard dog! He barks when someone is near the house! He will let you know someone is there <3
Sarge has always been with his sister or other dogs, he would do well in a home with another dog to play with, or in a home thats willing to keep him well socialised :)
Sarge will be a very large dog, so please take this into consideration when enquiring.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 7 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
